Waterjet cutting machines generate more than 500 kg of abrasive sludge per day when only one cutting head is used effectively.
This must be removed as quickly as possible to ensure reliable and cost-effective operation of the machines, as hardened sludge can only be removed by time-consuming manual cleaning.
The MBM-ASAS-ME abrasive slurry suction and settling system is perfectly suited for small cutting systems with abrasive consumption up to 500 g/min. The special tube system supplied can be easily integrated into existing plants and removes accumulating sludge in parallel with the cutting operation. The extraction process is controlled by a SIEMENS control system.
Accumulating sludge is pumped into a special big bag, which guarantees excellent and reliable filter performance.
